The Green Knights hockey team welcomes #5 Princeton Day School to Sport-O-Rama on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. PDS is the only program "newer" than SJR to the Gordon Conference, joining New Jersey's elite league this season.

This marks the first meeting of the season for SJR and PDS. The two teams were slated to play on December 21, but the game was postponed due to non-Covid illness within the program.

SJR is looking to snap a five-game skid and will look to junior goaltender Nick Wronski to stem the tide.

The game is key from a league perspective with both teams battling it out for the Gordon Conference (National) crown. With two huge points on the line, it will be important for the Green Knights to not look ahead to the upcoming Bergen County Tournament. SJR will square off against #20 Glen Rock on Friday night in the opening round. The winner will face the winner of Don Bosco-Paramus Catholic.
