The #18 Green Knights fell in the Bergen County Tournament semifinals to #2 Don Bosco Prep at the Ice Vault.

The spirited affair came down to the final five minutes as the Ironmen clung to a 5-3 lead before netting a pair late to set the final score at 7-3.

Senior Garrett Kata scored twice while freshman Shane Tobin added the third tally.

Don Bosco jumped out to a 3-0 after the first period before a close second that saw each team tally once.

SJR cut the lead to 5-3 with just under five minutes to play before DBP capitalized on an odd-man rush to put the win out of reach.

Juniors Nick Wronski and Joseph Monte combined to make 22 stops in ths loss.

Don Bosco will face #8 Northern Highlands for the title.

The Green Knights head to #4 Princeton Day School for a Gordon Conference game on Thursday afternoon.
