The SJR football team travels to SHI Stadium on Saturday, September 17, to take on St. Anthony's (NY) as part of the 2022 Battle for the Bridge event.  The Green Knights look to get back to the .500 mark after a loss to rival Don Bosco Prep dropped them to 1-2 on the season.

SJR will look to reset the offense with Joey Gaston '25 at quarterback. After losing starting QB Luke Henrich '23 to an injury, the Green Knights will turn to the mobile sophomore to guide the high-powered attack.

St. Anthony's enters the game with a 1-0 record after a 35-10 win in their opener. The Green Knights are viewing this game as a must-win, helping to set the tone for the remainder of the year. Kickoff is set for 8:00 PM, live on MSG+.
