SJR Hires Matt Juneau as New Varsity Hockey Coach

Saint Joseph Regional High School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Coach Matthew Juneau as the new Head Hockey Coach. After an extensive and careful hiring process, Coach Juneau emerged as the ideal candidate due to his remarkable experience, dedication, and passion for mentorship.
 
Coach Juneau's impressive coaching history includes leading the New Jersey Rockets 08 AAA to national rankings of #15 and #11, as well as coaching the NJ Avalanche from U8 through U18 across all levels of play. His expertise in high school athletics is further highlighted by his role as Varsity Ice Hockey Coach at both Newburgh Free Academy and Glen Rock High Schools.
 
Coach Juneau holds a Level 4 USA Hockey Instructor certification and is the owner of MJ Total Hockey. Additionally, he served as Hockey Director at Ice Time Sports Complex, has 19 years of experience as a physical education teacher in the Newburgh School District, and holds a master's degree in education.
