SJR nearly kicked off the JV Holiday Tournament with an incredible comeback. Alas, the fight fell short as the Green Knights dropped a 4-3 decision to the Golden Eagles. After falling behind 4-1 early in the third period, the team did not give up.

Sparked by goals from Connor Koliopoulos and Steven Odierno, his second of the game, SJR charged hard, but could not find the equalizer with the goaltender pulled late in third.

Liam Moloney made 23 saves.
