The SJR hockey team is red hot heading into the playoffs.

After wins over Pope John and St. Peter's Prep, the Green Knights have now won 9 games in a row and have surged up the state polls with a 15-3 record. SJR is currently ranked #2 in the state rankings. Most recently SJR defeated St. Peter's Prep 3-1 in a game played at the American Dream Ice rink in East Rutherford. SJR's offense was powered by goals from Jason Juneau '27, Max Juneau '27 and Kyle Kondratowicz '26. Senior goaltender Liam Moloney got the start in net and made the most of the opportunity stopping 26 of 27 shots on goal.

Next up for SJR is the Gordon Conference playoffs. The Green Knights will travel down the shore to take on CBA on Wednesday February 5th. Puck drops at 4:30 pm at the Jersey Shore Arena
